I feel cartographer/unearthed should be switched... even after a few listens I think I strongly prefer unearthed.

Anybody else see this review on CDBaby?
Kinda getting a lil' stalkerish there, eh? That's an.....interesting...review.
I kinda feel mean, I only gave it four stars....I might be the only one...

Truly a worshipful piece of work. Strikes me as Requiem-like at times. I just wish the words could mean something. I guess this is not in keeping with their M.O. and would (sadly) end up offending someone or another. Truly inspiring and beautiful work. j

The more I listen to the Luna Sans album, the more I appreciate it's aesthetics. The remix album loses so much steam after track 7 that it frankly disappointed me. I can see what went wrong....you can tell the album was conceived from the perspective of making it an Adiemus-esque vocal album. Taking out the main harmonizing instrument (Luna Sans) will obviously make things screwy. Though it isn't my taste, the Luna Sans album is much more complete than the remixed album. Mosane is definitely the best example of this.
I'm not going to lie and say I like it more than Unearthed....but I can see what they were trying to accomplish. I'm not sure how old the brothers are....but you can tell that they matured a ton in between the two albums. Much more complexity and beauty. Unfortunate being that a huge portion of their fanbase is actually incredibly young (as in under 30). Too much intellectual immaturity to fully enjoy something that has turned into new age. I'll freely admit it, too. My tastes are not mature enough to enjoy this fully. As a spokesman for Gen Y...I think they might have lost us on this one. We want crazy, loud percussion beats, cellos and violins going nutso, and a high tempo. Think Nineveh. Par for the course for the ADD generation.
