I named my cat Pompeii....he's the color of volcanic rock...a glossy black. But, no, there really isn't anything as hard as Pompeii on this album. Ashielf Pi and Marunae Pi might come close. AP is only 1.5 minutes long though. As soon as you get into it, it's over.

7 years later and it's finally here.....after months of visiting that d**ned wikipedia page every other day waiting for more information. I can't believe the departure the brothers took in the feel of the album. Unearthed was so hard, so menacing. Cartographer is much more inspirational. It reminds me of Karl Jenkins' Adiemus project; from the string-heavy production to the vocalist singing in a made up language. My favorites so far are Mosane from the Luna Sans disc and Marunae Pi from the instrumental album (it kind of sounds like a remix of Nara from Unearthed, doesn't it?)
