they just keep disappointing now, don't they. Given what CBS gave them to work with; essentially, "Mash together Run This Town and Posthumus Zone for a Super Bowl Teaser"...I thought it turned out rather well. Plus, we get to see Helmut rock that piano and Franz in the background playing guitar... I'm looking for a copy of the queen song they did...nothing on youtube quite yet.

It's out now on Amazon.
It's a great album so far. I love the sound. At first listen, its the percussion in particular I am in love with.

Tim over at experimentalsounds.com has some good info on the new album. Succinctly, it's called Makara and it's dropping Feb 2nd.

Two things. First, a fan has started a very nice looking and organized website at www.experimentalsounds.com. I encourage everyone to visit. As far as I can surmise, it is the first independent website dedicated to E.S. Posthumus. Secondly, I've been trying to figure out when the new album is coming out and it appears to have no concrete estimated release date. And if it does, nobody is telling me. A reply to such an inquiry I received from CD Baby, the main distributor of the brothers' work, read as such: So...yeah...I'm not holding out any hope that it will be any time soon.

Hey. I'm puzzled. Anyone remember the preview of Cartographer? That was a nice song. Anyone know what it was called? I'm pretty sure it was just taken from Marunae Pi.

E.S. Posthumus has released a new single, available on iTunes and CD Baby. The description mentions that it's the first single from their upcoming album, named Deciphered, presumably the follow up to Unearthed mentioned in interviews. Cool...and CD Baby gets another dollar...
